New Balance's 574 New-B brings the brand's classic silhouette to first walkers, with a hook-and-loop closure that makes getting shoes on a squirming toddler far easier. This Bright Sky pair adds a Star Burst accent for a livelier look than the brand's solid-color New-B options, and it's offered in a wider width range, up to extra wide, than most of the New-B lineup.

Fit and Construction

  • Hook-and-loop strap for quick, secure on and off
  • Roomy toe box built to support first steps and growing feet
  • Cushioned midsole for comfort through a full day of play

Best For

  • First walkers and early toddlers
  • Parents who want an easy on, easy off shoe
  • Wide and extra-wide width options for kids who need more room than standard
