The 860 is New Balance's stability daily trainer, the one to reach for if your foot rolls inward through the stride. This is the quartz grey colorway, a pale grey mesh with a blue midsole and navy heel.
Features
- Fresh Foam X midsole, branded on the sidewall, with stability built in for overpronation control
- Breathable engineered mesh upper in pale grey with blue and navy detailing
- Structured heel counter for rearfoot hold
- Removable insole, so a custom orthotic can go in
- Widths D and 2E, sizes 7 through 16
Best For
- Overpronation and pronation control, which is the whole reason the 860 exists
- Daily road mileage and long runs where support matters over distance
- Orthotic wearers, since the insole lifts out cleanly and the 2E gives room for a thicker insert
- An unusually broad size run, up to a 16
