The Banter is a Mary Jane with two crossed straps and a single button closure, built on the same footbed Taos puts in its sneakers. It is the shoe to look at if you need real arch support and do not want to wear trainers to get it.
Features
- Caramel leather upper with two crossover straps and a button closure
- Taos lists the Curves and Pods removable footbed as providing arch, metatarsal and heel support
- Suede-lined footbed, printed with the Taos leaf motif
- Low wedge with a black speckled rubber outsole
- Medium width, US sizes 6 through 11
Best For
- Anyone who needs arch and metatarsal support in something dressier than a sneaker
- Orthotic wearers, since the footbed lifts out to make room
- All-day standing, work, church, and occasions where a trainer will not do
- Medium width only. If you need a wide, ask about the Plim Soul Lux
