Our team here at Roderer Shoe Center and New Balance Dayton wanted to reach out and thank everyone for their support. As a locally owned family business, it has been very difficult to navigate these unusual times. We are continuing to evolve our business and trying to find new ways to adapt. This in itself has been difficult.The current economic situation has forced many small businesses to change and adapt as quickly as possible. It has polarized public opinion in ways I don't think any of us thought could ever occur. How do you guarantee everyone feels comfortable as they venture out to shop stores and the community?
The simple answer is you cannot. Each day we will be faced with new questions that require us to come up with creative solutions. Some of the preventative measures we have put in place are things people have already experienced:
Being local, we have been fortunate to work directly with some excellent community organizations such as Shoes4theShoeless, Brigid's Path, Kettering Backpack program, as well as a large number of schools in the area. We are tied to this community and will continue to be as we move forward.
We now offer new services such as Curbside pickup and Local delivery within 5 miles.
